Pictures Finally

Ian found this hat in the drawer and put it on.

Ian loves playing with stuffed animals. He will put them down to go "night-night" and kiss them, it is very cute.

I finally sat down and looked for current pictures on the computer and these were a couple of them.

We're Moving!

So we got a call today from the apartments we applied for in ogden. She said the paperwork has all been turned in and we have been approved. She then asked when we wanted to move in. So after talking, we decided to move in on Monday, since there is no school in the Ogden District. I will post pictures when we move in and I have access to internet. We still have to figure out what to do about internet. Does anyone know of any cheap internet companies?

On another note, Rex was reading over my last post and noticed a couple things. First I meant to put I can't wait to find out if Rex got the job. Second, my cousin's baby shower is on Saturday, not bridal shower.

Glad that's over with and things to look forward to

We spoke in Sacrament meeting today. This was the first time I spoke since high school, when I would speak as a youth speaker. It was stressful but I guess what okay. The youth speaker before me did speak longer than me though, she did really well.

Things I'm looking forward to this week:
1. Finding out where Rex got the job, then finding out where we will live
2. Having one or two days off work this week
3. Getting paid
4. Cousin's bridal shower
5. Draper Temple open house this Saturday

Some things I am looking forward to this week

A friend of mine has started putting things she is looking forward to in the week and I thought it was a good idea. So here are a few things that I am looking forward to:

1. Finding out when we can move into our new apartment
2. Working on projects that I have started for Christmas (yes, I already started because some things take months for me to finish.)
3. Going to stake women's conference on Saturday
4. Talking to my friend about her engagement/wedding plans (Lauren just got engaged this weekend!)
5. Figuring out how to organize our apartment (when I can't sleep)
6. Practicing the piano at least five days this week
7. Figuring out behavior management ideas at work so the kids will pay more attention (points work for some but not others)

We found a Place!

We have been busy the last couple weeks looking for an apartment an Ogden. I called a bunch of places to see what was in our price range. After about a week of calling, we went and looked at apartments. I think we looked at a total of five or six places (it is hard getting a hold of people). Yesterday I looked at two apartments that I liked in our price range. They were owned by the same people. We are going to go with the little bit cheaper one, it seemed like it had more space, especially storage. The bathroom was decent in this place. A lot of the places we looked at had kind of gross bathrooms, in that they were stained (mirror, tub or toilet). One place the bathroom door was like a closet door, needless to say, that bugged me. The kitchen in this place has a decent amount of counter space, meaning more than Wymount has. So now we are filling out the application and hopefully we can move into an apartment in the next few weeks.

In other news, at my job at the school, we have finally started the program that I was hired for. We were the last school in the district to start. Now one of the ladies I work with is quitting so they are looking for a new person. This lady and her husband were both retired and then she got a job and he started complaining. The ladies I work with are great and friendly and a good deal older than me. Two of them already have grandkids, some of which are already in elementary school. The other, her youngest is like 14 or 15. We go in the kindergarten and first grade classrooms and each take a small group and do reading instruction. It is going pretty well. The first grade is bored with what we are doing with them, but most still do what we ask good naturedly. I have the highest groups in all the first grade classes. My one kindergarten group tells me everyday that they are bored, but have been better the past couple days since I have started giving them points for good behavior.

Well I should go now, Ian really wants someone to play with right now.
