Spirit Lake

Last weekend we went camping at Spirit Lake (near Flaming Gorge) with Rex’s family. We left after Rex got off work on Saturday. We stopped briefly in Vernal to get food from the grocery store and got to the campsite around 8. We set up camp, ate dinner and got Ian to bed. We stayed up talking around the camp fire. Jaiden slept pretty well the first night, only waking up twice (good for him), but he also woke up Luc those times (who usually sleeps through the night).

Sunday morning we ate and then left to go to church in Manila. We got back and ate lunch. Rex, Ian, Grandpa, and Garrett went out on the boat (an inflatable boat). Bradley and Kati went out on theirs as well (looks like an inflatable canoe). I stayed and got Jaiden down for a nap. Ian loved going in the boat and kept talking about how he got to go on the boat. We roasted hot dogs and marshmallows for dinner.

Monday morning, we packed up and left. We stopped in Vernal on the way home. They have a natural history museum (dinosaurs). Ian was excited to see all the dinosaurs.
